Origin:

Vinho Regional Alentejano, Borba

Blend:

33% Petit Verdot, 30% Touriga Nacional, 30% Alicante Bouschet, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% vol Alc.

Winemaking:

The best lots of the Quinta, handpicked, selection by hand, cold soak, fermentation in oak vats and steel tanks, six weeks skin contact, 24 months barrel aged in new French oak barrels.

Tasting notes:

A rock solid top cuvée and clearly the star of the estate. It is meant to reach its best form after 12 years and will keep well alive for another 15, if stored in a cool cellar. Crushed stones, violets, black berries dominate the bouquet, loads of sweet extract and firm tannins build the backbone of this rare wine.

Serve with:

All kind of meat, or alone.

Decant, 14 – 17°C, store below 15°C
