Terra do Zambujeiro
Red Wine 2016

Origin:
Vinho Regional, Alentejo, Portugal
Blend:
49% Alicante Bouschet, 20% Touriga Nacional, 18% Petit Verdo, 13% Cabernet Sauvignono, 15% Alc. Vol.
Winemaking:
Hand harvested from yield reduced vineyards. Grapes are hand sorted on conveyor belts. Fermented in steel tanks. Matured for 24 months in 25% new and 75% used french oak barrels. Unfiltered, unfined.
Tasting Notes:
The 2016 Terra is an opulent beauty with intense and seductive scents of violets, roses, orange peel, oak and rum. It has an impressive red colour with violet rims. It is full bodied and creamy with plenty of juicy fruit extract. A solid structure of fine grained tannins keeps the wine together, it ends with a very long lasting fruit taste.
Service and Pairing:
Drink with 14 – 17°C, goes well with meat dishes, risottos, grilled tuna or alone. Drink from 2020 on to 2028. Store below 15°C.
