Vinho Regional Alentejano, Borba, Portugal

Blend:

50% Aragonez, 23% Alicante Bouschet, 13% Trincadeira, 5% Tinta Caiada, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Syrah

14.5% vol. Alc.

Winemaking:

The red Monte is pressed from the younger vines of the Quinta. Hand harvested and hand sorted on conveyor belts. Fermented in steel tanks. Matured for 12 months in used french oak barrels. Unfined (no animal based proteins).

Tasting Notes:

Dark ruby red. Intense and fresh in the bouquet, a mix of fruit and flowers with a hint of toasted oak. Juicy and refreshing, soft and pleasant in structure with a little backbone of tannins to hold the wine together.

Service and pairing:

Serve with 13 – 16°C, drink it with pasta, pizza, or a nice barbecue. Drink from 2021 till to 2026. Store below 15°C
