Vinho Regional Alentejano, Borba, Portugal

Blend:

39% Aragonez, 35% Alicante Bouschet, 8% Tinta Caiada, 6% Touriga Nacional, 5% Syrah, 4% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petit Verdot

15.0% vol. Alc.

Winemaking:

Hand harvested. Hand sorted on conveyor belts. Fermented in steel tanks. Matured for 12 months in used french oak barrels.

Tasting Notes:

The red Monte is pressed from younger vines and is all about fresh fruit combined with a mild and smooth structure. It comes with reasonable concentration and lots of wild berries taste, it is mild and easy drinking.

Service and pairing:

Serve with 13 – 16°C, drink it with pasta, pizza or a nice barbecue.
Drink from 2020 on to 2025.
Store below 15°C.
