Tasting notes:

The 2013 was a warm and dry year and resulted in opulent and fruit driven wines. The Monte do Zambujeiro has a beautiful dark red color, followed by a rich bouquet of wild berries with a hint of smoke. The wine is well constructed around solid and soft tannins, has a lovely creamy extract and lots of fruit. It is mild in acidity and the alcohol is well integrated. It is ready for instant drinking pleasure and will last for 5 years if stored at 15°C or below.

Serve with:

Tapas, all kind of meat and pastas.
