Origin:

Vinho Regional Alentejano, Borba, Portugal

Blend:

40% Aragonez, 29% Tinta Caiada, 24% Trincadeira, 7% Alicante Bouschet, 14,5% vol. Alc.

Production:

60.000 bottles

Winemaking:

Hand harvested from yield reduced vineyards. Fermented in steel tanks at 29°C. Matured in used french oak barrels during 12 month.

Tasting notes:

Fresh, young red with violet hints. Intense floral bouquet with some oriental perfumed scents.

Juicy and refreshing structure with solid but soft tannins, nicely balanced and with medium weight. A small dose of red fruit extract gives a hint of sweetness, a touch of smoke and vanilla on the end brings in some reminders of it’s barrel ageing

Serve with:

Tapas, all kind of meat and pastas.

Store between:13 -15ºC .
Drink 2013– 2017.
